Movies for Sat Aug 8... Please Vote by Aug 6

Below are the trailers for the movies to be voted on for the next showing. The poll closes at 10:00 PM August 6 so please vote by then. You can see the voting box to the right of these posts, below the welcome message.

The first movie in the poll is Madagascar (2005). It runs for 86 minutes and is rated PG for mild language, crude humor and some thematic elements.

At New York's Central Park Zoo, a lion, a zebra, a giraffe, and a hippo are best friends and stars of the show. But when one of the animals goes missing from their cage, the other three break free to look for him, only to find themselves reunited ... on a ship en route to Africa. When their vessel is hijacked, however, the friends, who have all been raised in captivity, learn first-hand what life can be like in the wild.

The next movie in the poll is Babe (1995). This movie runs for 89 minutes and is rated G.

Babe is a little pig who doesn't quite know his place in the world. With a bunch of odd friends, like Ferdinand the duck who thinks he is a rooster and Fly the dog he calls mom, Babe realizes that he has the makings to become the greatest sheep pig of all time, and Farmer Hogget Knows it. With the help of the sheep dogs Babe learns that a pig can be anything that he wants to be.

The last movie in the poll is Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D (2008). This movie runs for 93 minutes and is rated PG for intense adventure action and some scary moments.

On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

This is the 3D version, and we will have enough 3D glasses for everyone.
