The first movie in the poll is Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993). It runs for 84 minutes and is rated G.

This thrilling and thoroughly captivating theatrical hit from Disney has become an instant favorite with audiences of all ages. You'll lose your heart to Chance, a fun-loving American bulldog pup; Sassy, a hilarious Himalayan cat who lives up to her name; and Shadow, a wise old golden retriever -- all of whom express themselves with very familiar human voices! The adventure begins when the loving owners of these irresistible pets are forced to leave them in the temporary care of a friend who lives hundreds of miles away. But after several days, the worried animals begin to think their family must be in trouble, so they decide to head for home. On their incredible journey across the ruggedly beautiful Sierras, they encounter unexpected surprises from man, beast, and nature alike. It's an unforgettable story of love, courage, and devotion that will delight and inspire generations to come!

The second movie in the poll is Shrek 2 (2001). This movie runs for 93 minutes and is rated PG for some crude humor, a brief substance reference and some suggestive content.

Princess Fiona's parents invite her and Shrek to dinner to celebrate her marriage. If only they knew the newlyweds were both ogres.

The third movie in the poll is Babe (1995). This movie runs for 89 minutes and is rated G.

Babe is a little pig who doesn't quite know his place in the world. With a bunch of odd friends, like Ferdinand the duck who thinks he is a rooster and Fly the dog he calls mom, Babe realizes that he has the makings to become the greatest sheep pig of all time, and Farmer Hogget Knows it. With the help of the sheep dogs Babe learns that a pig can be anything that he wants to be.

The fourth and final movie in the poll is Hoodwinked (2005). This movie runs for 80 minutes and is rated PG for some mild action and thematic elements.

Little Red Riding Hood: A classic story, but there's more to every tale than meets the eye. Before you judge a book by its cover, you've got to flip through the pages. For this story, we begin at the end. Furry and feathered cops from the animal world investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage, involving a girl, a wolf, and an axe. The charges are many: breaking and entering, disturbing the peace, intent to eat, and wielding an axe without a license. Not to mention, this case might be tied to the elusive "Goody Bandit" who has been stealing the recipes of goody shops everywhere.

Please remember to vote for the movie you'd like to see on the side of the house by July 23. We'll post the winning movie here the next day. And please feel free to email me with recommendations for movies you'd like to see, as well!
Showtime will be Saturday July 25 around 9:15 PM. Hope to see you there!
